Everyone who watches the NFL knows that this year, teams are being more aggressive than ever. During the 2020 NFL season, NFL teams threw a record 35.2 pass attempts per game. But even with this record aggression, almost all of the NFL is still on the conservative side when it comes to what could be. And that’s because NFL teams still love to throw short passes. In fact, almost every team throws over 40% of their passes at least 5 yards short of a 1st down.

Earlier this year, I was asked to create a League of Legends player projection system for Sabersim, a Daily Fantasy SaaS site that I co-own and work for part-time. The result of this project was both a projection system and a Pro League of Legends ELO model.
